Scheduling Appointments

We are available for appointments Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency, every attempt will be made to see you on the day you call.

We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. As we provide many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time needed for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Please call with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Your First Visit

On your initial appointment, we will interview and examine you, and gather whatever other records and tests are needed to diagnose your condition. We will then review your case with you, including options and recommendations, and give you a chance to ask any questions. Occasionally, urgent treatment can be performed on the same day as the consultation.

To provide you with the best possible care, please bring the following with you to your first appointment:

  • A list of your current medications
  • Any current radiographs (“x-rays”). If you call your former dentist in advance of your appointment, they can often forward any recent radiographs to us and reduce the number that need to be taken in our facility.
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, please bring your coverage information, such as plan and ID numbers. We can send most claims electronically (paperless), so you do not need to bring insurance forms.

Note: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 to this appointment.

Insurance/Dental Plans

Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to cover some portion of dental fees for certain common procedures. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your employer, the more generous the reimbursement. Every plan is different, and they will change from time to time.

Although we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Our staff will submit your insurance claim and reasonable supporting documents as a courtesy to you. All services provided to you are charged directly to you and you are personally responsible for payment. Any insurance reimbursements authorized to be paid directly to our office will be credited to your account on receipt and any overpayments will be refunded.

If you require extensive treatment, you have the option of requesting a “pre-determination of dental benefits” from your carrier to help determine how much reimbursement you may expect.

You can be confident that we will always offer you the best possible care despite any limitations imposed by your insurance coverage.

Payment Options

Our office accepts cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Because we endeavor to deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost, payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account or quoted fees, please contact us. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

If you require payment arrangements, such as a payment plan or financing, we will gladly try to help you. Please note that these arrangements must be made prior to treatment.

Infection Control

We are committed to housekeeping standards that ensure a safe treatment environment for our patients and a clean, safe workplace for our staff.
